Speaktoit voice-controlled assistant lets you teach it your own commands

There isn't a shortage of virtual voice assistants for Android, including Google's own Voice Search natural language algorithm app. There are also Speaktoit Assistant and other 3rd party recognition services, which aim to do things differently.

Speaktoit got updated with a premium version recently, which allows you to teach the voice-controlled electronic butler to be taught custom replies. You can for example set it to display the news upon asking "S'up?," or give you tonight's entertainment options.

The Premium subscription costs $2 a month, or $20 a year, adding extra voices, use of all services, PIN codes, and more personalized support, while the free version also got some love including Facebook birthdays in the morning briefing, assigning nick names to contacts and so on.
